If I had to pick a favorite month, it would have to be October. The changing leaves
hit their peak in October and I think it's one of the most beautiful scenes in
nature. The weather turns cool and crisp; it's time to bring out the sweaters.
Halloween is pure fun, and by far, my favorite holiday. October brings the best
of baseball, and football season is in full swing. I almost always get to go on
vacation during October (this year, it will be Boston and Philadelphia). And to
top it off, I will celebrate my birthday. I hope all of you enjoy October
as much as I know I'm going to. The best part will be all of the photos and stories
I'll have by the end of the month! And of course, we have some great new
products this month which are perfectly appropriate for the season. I'm looking
forward to trying them out myself.
Enjoy your month, and all of the surprises that are sure to be in store!

| The
changing colors of the leaves are a large part of the autumn season. What
is the chemical in leaves that begins to break down, causing the green color to
disappear? Send your answer to fontrivia@LetteringDelights.com
with grin & win on the subject line. All correct answers will
be entered in a drawing to receive your choice of the Borders & Backgrounds
CD or a Typing Delights CD. Please include your mailing address and the CD you
would prefer with your entry. | Congratulations
to Bernice Win (Boca Raton, FL), Ron Perry (Warwick, RI) and Shannon Scott (Maple
Valley, WA), the winners of the September trivia contest. They answered correctly
that, according to Crayola, blue is the most popular color in
America. | |
Let's imagine
it's the weekend you've been waiting for all month. The car is packed, the reservations
are made, and you pull out of the driveway for two solid days of R and R. Nothing
can stop you ... until you reach the interstate that is. Oh no! Traffic! All of
us can probably relate to this scenario. Unfortunately, many times downloading
files from the internet can be just as exasperating as finding the interstate
clogged with traffic before our big weekend. All we want is to get to work on
a new project when technical problems stand in our way. Luckily, there is a way
out of this awful fix. In this month's personal trainer we'll take a look
at two common error messages, and what we can do to fix them. Click
here for detailed information.
