You can easily brighten someone's day, give them words of encouragement or simply let them know you're thinking about them, with little notes tucked in special spots where they are sure to be found; inside school books, bags or lunches, briefcases, drawers or closets. My favorite place to stick them is inside the medicine cabinet in the bathroom. Just quick little thoughts as simple as 'Have a Great Day!', 'Good Luck on your Test!', 'I hope the presentation goes well' or any other message appropriate for the recipient. Making these little notes with Lettering Delights software is really easy and takes just minutes.

1. To get started, open your browser and select Journaling Delights. Find the theme you need and select a journaling box from one of the many themed sets..
2. Select 'Add text' and type in the message you want to include on the card. Select a font, adjust the size and location of the text on the image by using the drawing tools.
3. Click ok and your complete image (including text) will be visible in the lower left corner in the 'Image' box.
4. Move to the layout page and double-click on the Image box to place your image on the page.
5. Select the image and then 'Size the image' and adjust the size to fit your needs. Be sure that the 'Constrained' box is checked for the width or height; this will keep the image proportional as you adjust the opposite dimension.
6. Print the layout page on cardstock and give the card a quick trim to the proper size.
7. Slip it in the lunch, book, drawer or other spot where the recipient will be sure to find it.
